Catch & Cook Masterclass

FISHING World in collaboration with MOTackle is hosting a live catch & cook masterclass at MOTackle Coffs Harbour on Sunday the 4th of May. This event is presented by Nautilus Marine Insurance.

Watch and learn as we invite four experts to share their knowledge and provide you with the skills to catch and cook restaurant quality meals at home.

Who are the presenters?

Host: Zac Panaretos

Host of On The Sauce podcast presented by Fishing World Magazine. Seafood editor at Fishing Word. Zac has been on a mission to look at how recreational fishos can become more sustainable through looking after every fish that is intended for the home kitchen. Making fish taste better and last longer. Using more of a single fish means less need to be taken from our precious systems. 

Ryan Doyle

Lineage from Australia’s oldest ongoing seafood restaurant Doyles – By The Sea in Watsons Bay. Ryan is an expert filleter and has refined his dispatch methods using ancient Japanese techniques

Bosley McGee

He has moved from his position as Senior Fish Monger at Fish Butchery to now work for commercial operation Soueast Seafoods. He is a magician with a knife, learning from Josh Niland himself.

Todd Richardson – Chef and farmer 

Owner of Chef 2 Farmer a 1st generation regenerative farm at Telegraph Point. He moved into this world from cheffing and is now putting it all together with produce that he has harvested from his own sustainable farming practices.
