THE 15th annual Twin Rivers Bream Classic will be held this year on July 16 and 17 at the Tambo River at Johnsonville, in East Gippsland Victoria.
Last year’s event attracted almost 700 anglers and organisers are expecting a similar number this year. The Twin Rivers Bream Classic promotes sustainable fishing, and will feature demonstrations on a variety of sustainable fishing methods.
Contestants are able to fish in teams of up to four and can fish on the Mitchell, Tambo, and Nicholson Rivers, the Gippsland Lakes and Lake Tyers. Registration is $30.00 per participant.
This year’s event will conclude with a barbeque lunch on Sunday prior to the announcement of prize winners at 1pm. Spectators will be treated to an extensive list of activities for the family including entertainment on Saturday evening by the Longhorns Country Group.
