Tickets are now on sale for the Sydney International Boat Show.

TICKETS are now on sale for the southern hemisphere’s largest and most comprehensive boating show. The Sydney International Boat Show runs from August 2 to 6 at the International Convention Centre, Sydney and the adjoining purpose-built marina on Cockle Bay at Darling Harbour.

To purchase tickets, visit www.sydneyboatshow.com.au and click on the blue ‘Buy Tickets’ button. Fill in the payment details and the tickets are subsequently emailed to the requested address. A printed version of the ticket, or the QR code displayed on a mobile phone or tablet, is all that is required to gain entry to the show. You might even choose to buy tickets online for a friend or relative as a gift and then forward the tickets to their email address.

Adult entry is $22 with children (6-17 years old) $13. Kids aged five and under are admitted free. Family tickets (2 adults + 3 kids) are $49, Seniors $20 and Pensioners are $16. If you arrive after 5pm, all tickets are just $5 when purchased from any of the ticket booths at the show (excluding family ticket). Multiple day tickets for return visits are also available.

The ticket gives entry to both exhibition levels of the International Convention Centre, the popular fishing clinics, the on-water displays at Cockle Bay, entry to the co-located Australia International Dive Expo, and bumper boat rides for the kids at the 16 metre pool located on the open-air Event Deck.

Whether you’re boating and fishing on Australia’s inland waterways or prefer the open waters off the coast, the Sydney International Boat Show promises everything for the avid boatie, fisherman or sailor, with new vessels, new tackle and loads of technology designed to make your adventure on the water even more enjoyable.

Visitors can buy tickets at the various ticket booths at the show, however organising tickets online is a great way to avoid the inevitable queues, and walk straight into this popular event attended by more than 63,000 people last year.

If you want advice and guidance from industry experts, and a range of boats, fishing gear and boating accessories at the one big show, be sure not to miss this year’s Sydney International Boat Show.
