WITH a weight of 98.5kg the new MFS60A EFI is 15% lighter than the previously popular M60C 2-Stroke.

What’s also worth noting is this unit is 7 kg lighter than its nearest competitor. This achievement is clearly a positive factor as current 2-Stroke users look to re-power or new boat buyers consider weight during boat configuration i.e. displacement, balance, trim and stability.

Aesthetically refined with a sleek sporty design in aquamarine or beluga white, the MFS60A retains much of the proven core values from the MFS40/50A. However, Tohatsu engineers have introduced some interesting “Simpliq Technology” into the new MFS60A, including: three valve intake, roller rockers for friction reduction and anodising along with a unique piston crown.

Tohatsu says the end result is a modern very fuel efficient, easy starting, smart performance packed environmentally friendly outboard. And when combined with creature comforts such as idle-speed trolling control, simple freshwater flush system, multi-function tiller (EFTL), TOCS-On-board communication connectivity (option) and you have an exciting new player to consider.

Tohatsu now offer 4-Stroke variants from 3.5hp – 250hp.
