Black Magic says they are excited to launch a fantastic new innovation in line technology. The product is called SSP Fibre Glide and is neither a mono nor a braid. It is in fact a single strand of Japanese polyethylene (PE) fibre with strength that is up to four times stronger than mono of a similar diameter.
Ideal for spinning reels, SSP Fibre Glide offers you a line with zero stretch making it very sensitive to bites. It’s supple feel lets your knots pull up very neatly on the leader while it’s very smooth surface allows it to sail through the rod guides with ease, giving it unbelievable casting performance.
The line is white in colour with black indicator marks every metre giving you better bite detection when your lure, jig or bait is sinking. These marks also provide you with a depth reading when required.
