WHILE the floods that rampaged through Queensland last month left a path of devastation and misery at least for some townspeople affected by the floods there was consolation in the form of welcome windfalls – barramundi left high and dry after being stranded by receding flood waters and dam spillways. The accompanying images were taken around Mt Isa where barramundi unfortunately running off Lake Moondarra’s spillway died after hitting the rocks below. As you can see by the accompanying images these barra weren’t wasted and made it home by all manner of improvised transport.
