Burke questioned about super trawler on Q&A

LAST night on the ABC’s Q&A program federal Environment Minister Tony Burke was questioned by a viewer about why his government is rolling out a series of national parks around Australia while allowing the super trawler FV Margiris to fish Commonwealth waters around our coast.

Minister Burke tells Q&A he has been advised he does not have the power to block an international super trawler from fishing in Australian waters.
