SWORDFISH in Victoria are considered the holy grail for many trailerboat game fishos and until recently no swordfish had ever been landed on a rod and reel in that state.
Earlier this year however, a few anglers cracked the code and landed a handful of these enigmatic fish during the day out wide off Mallacoota.
One of these fishos was Lee Rayner and on this week’s episode of Fishing Edge, Lee heads out in an attempt to achieve one of his long term goals; to land a Victorian sword fish on film.
