FISHERIES Victoria would like to invite people from different cultures who enjoy fishing to participate in producing a documentary called Fishing for Culture.
Fishing is important to many different cultures for many different reasons and as such, filmmaker Amie Batalibasi is documenting some of the fishing stories from around the world.
The producers of the film are looking for up to eight people to share their stories, including how their migration experience changed their fishing habits, what was fishing like for them before migrating and why fishing is important to them.
