FPI Marketing Pty Ltd has announced the development and launch of the Australian Boat Ramp Finder app, now available from the Apple App store.
The Australian Boat Ramp Finder app has more than 1500 boat ramp locations around Australia.
Search “Nearby” or “By Location” and the app will list or map your results and then get a suggested route to that ramp location.
Australian Boat Ramp Finder estimates 95 per cent of all Australian boat ramps are listed but if you know of another then you can also “Add a ramp” and the makers will list it in the next update.
The app is currently available for $2.99 per download for iPhone and iPad only but an Android version is in development. The app is already appealing to many different users including fishos, boaties, jet skiiers, wakeboarders, waterskiiers, trailer sailers, and many others.

The Facebook page is intended to be a community to share and contribute information. There are plans to add more information to the app including photos, number of lanes, ramp surface (concrete, sand, earth etc) current state of repair as we gather additional information from personal research and contributions from users. As it says in its title this App is a “finder” not a “guide or right to use” the locations. As such the app developers always say to seek local advice before using any ramp.
