AT the Sydney International Boat Show, BRP has revealed its new Evinrude E-TEC G2 outboard engine.
The manufacturer says the new generation E-TEC produces 75 per cent fewer total regulated emissions, 15 per cent better fuel efficiency and 20 per cent more torque than leading four-stroke engines (based on BRP internal tests).
“BRP’s Evinrude brand is an integral part of one of the most innovative companies in the world,” said Alain Villemure, vice president and general manager of BRP’s Marine Propulsion Systems division.
“Our reputation for inventing and reinventing the playgrounds we’re in dictates that a
new era in outboard engine technology and design would originate from BRP.”
The new Evinrude E-TEC G2 is currently being showcased at stand number 429 during the Sydney International Boat Show, in models from 200 H.O to 300 R.A.V.E.
The new E-TEC G2 offers a unique customisable look and, according to the manufacturer, the only clean rigging and fully integrated digital control.

During the Sydney International Boat Show, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 will also be displayed at the entrance of the show near the Ferry Terminal, installed on a Quintrex
Trident 690.
