Fishing kayaks and canoes are more and more common place on our waterways.
Fitting sounders to some of these smaller boats can be a problem, with large cumbersome batteries and inappropriate wiring making life extremely difficult.
Humminbird has come up with a solution to this problem with the Fishin’ Buddy – a portable sounder and transducer combo unit powered by six AA batteries which slot into an integral battery pack, no wiring necessary.
The head units feature high resolution 3.5 and 4-inch monochrome or colour displays and incorporate powerful SideFinding sonar that you can point in almost any direction to find more fish.
The Fishin’ Buddy has a power output of 125 watts (RMS) and 1000 watts (PTP) and features temperature display, backlighting, dual frequencies and waterproofing as standard.
