FUSION Entertainment has announced today the release of a new compact and cost effective series, the MS-RA70 and MS-RA70N. Fusion claims that the new audio system features a sleek front face finish with a shallow-mount case design, that delivers clear and dynamic sound reproduction in a marine-friendly, space-saving body for flexible installation options.
Engineered to seamlessly replace any standard size car stereo, the low-profile MS-RA70 design allows for easy integration on any boat. With Bluetooth audio streaming, users can stream music from any compatible device to the MS-RA70. Boaters can enjoy audio apps such as Pandora, Spotify and Apple Music with the ability to skip tracks and adjust volume from both the stereo face and the connected device. The FUSION-Link Bluetooth remote app for Android and Apple devices is compatible with the MS-RA70 and allows the user to navigate available sources and browse music collections from compatible USB flash drives, as well as adjust zone volume control from a smartphone or tablet. Mobile devices can be charged via the USB connector located at the rear of the unit.
The widescreen LCD display is optically bonded to improve durability and eliminate the possibility of condensation or fogging while on the water. The MS-RA70’s LCD display is also able to resist extreme temperatures and operate in direct sunlight. When mounted correctly, the front face of the MS-RA70 is rated IPx7 waterproof – able to withstand the harshest marine environments. The MS-RA70 is engineered with a glass filled composite chassis to eliminate corrosion from dissimilar metals. A world’s first innovation, the MS-RA70 can be installed conventionally on the dash or integrated into a glass helm with a flush surface finish by simply removing the faceplate trims and recessing the mount.
The MS-RA70N provides all of the features of the MS-RA70 and includes a standard NMEA 2000® connector for integration with existing networks. Unlocking the power of FUSION-Link wired control, the MS-RA70N is fully compatible with Multi-Function Displays. When connected to a NMEA 2000 network, the MS-RA70N can communicate with any connected FUSION MS-NRX200i wired remote control for added zone control throughout the vessel. With FUSION-Link, the user can control the entertainment experience directly from a connected chartplotter or Multi-Function Display for a truly connected entertainment experience.
