HONDA’s powerful presence at this week’s Sydney International Boat Show will be further strengthened by an impressive display from its newest NSW dealer Family Boats.
Based in Blacktown, Family Boats has earned a solid reputation among the competitive Sydney market for its exceptional service and focus on offering premium-quality products.
Honda Australia marine manager Robert Johnson said Family Boats had also recently been appointed as a dealer for the US-built range of Robalo boats and would have several models at the show.
“These superbly-finished runabout, centre console and cuddy cabin fibreglass boats are a prefect match for Honda’s technologically-advanced outboard engines,” Mr Johnson said.
“On display in Sydney will be the R200 centre console with a BF150, as well as the R207 and R247 bowriders, powered by a BF200 and twin BF150 outboards respectively.
“Boat show visitors should also keep an eye out for the twin BF250-powered R265… this serious offshore fishing rig is a real show-stopper!”
Honda’s BF250 combines a 3.6L V6 EFI engine with the world’s first direct air induction system in an outboard – designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase air volume to the engine – to deliver outstanding overall performance and best-in-class fuel economy.
Beneath its distinct, angular and streamlined cowl, the BF250 incorporates exclusive Honda technologies including BLAST – advanced ignition timing control system that significantly improves hole-shot performance; ECOmo – sophisticated lean burn fuel control system, which contributes to the engine’s excellent fuel economy; and VTEC – variable valve timing technology to deliver incredible power.
Combining the performance, environmental, reliability and durability characteristics for which Honda is renowned, the BF250 is also backed by Honda’s five-year warranty.
In addition to Honda’s corporate stand and the Family Boats display, other dealers in attendance at the Sydney International Boat Show will include Webbe Marine, Inner City Marine and Coastal Outboards.
