LEADING marine electronics brands Lowrance and Simrad have announced the Fishing Club Challenge. The inaugural 2014 FCC event is designed specifically for fishing clubs, groups and associations and aims to support anglers across Australia by mapping local fishing waters and giving away over $20,000 in prizes in the process.
To be eligible, members of participating clubs need to record sonar logs captured through Lowrance or Simrad multifunction displays and upload them via the innovative online Insight Genesis mapping tool. It’s as easy as registering your club, record sonar logs of your favourite fishing spots or waterways, upload your sonar logs using Insight Genesis, and then keep up to date on club and individual progress via the online leader board at fishingclubchallenge.lowrance.com.
As part of Lowrance and Simrad’s commitment to providing customers with the absolute greatest experience on the water, the Fishing Club Challenge aims to introduce more anglers to Insight Genesis – this online tool allows you to create personalised maps for your own sonar logs for more success on the water. Get more definition than ever before, see bottom hardness and vegetation layers, customise contours, and add personalised waypoints and tags.
