MERCURY’S new look Helm Suite is now complete, with the release of the new Digital Throttle and Shift (DTS) control boxes to suit FourStroke Verado outboards as well as selected MerCruiser and Mercury Diesel engines.
Available in single and dual handle versions, the new DTS control boxes not only look sleek and sophisticated, they provide increased functionality.
Features include:
- Single handle control
- Easy to use Trim Button for quick and effortless trimming
- Throttle Only mode provides throttle control while the engine is in neutral to help when starting and mooring.
- Transfer Button allows control to be easily transferred from one helm to another.
- Neutral Indicator Light shows when the engine is not in gear.
- Full Helm Dimming controls all SmartCraft® gauge and display brightness levels.
- Doublehandle control
- Can trim up to four engines individually or all at once.
- Dock Mode reduces control sensitivity by 50 per cent for more precise throttle control at lower speeds making it easier to dock and manoeuvre.
- Shadow Mode allows control of up to four engines with just two handles.
The new DTS control boxes complete Mercury’s new look Helm Suite, adding to the redesigned SmartCraft dash gauges and the new touch screen VesselView information display units released recently.
