The Ky-Nooe is a unique single-man (design registered) hybrid style boat powered by a small 5hp air-cooled inboard engine. The craft is steered using your feet and it features rod holders, full electrics and lighting and is easily transported on a small trailer. A boating licence is not required to operate the Ky-Nooe.
The brainchild of boating industry veterans Gary Rigby and Glen Finch, the Ky-Nooe is manufactured in Gloucester NSW and has a registered design on its hull. Expected to be officially launched in July, Glen Finch told Fisho the production model will feature side pocket and front storage, a choice of power options and possibly a factory fitted sounder.
The model featured in the video below is the prototype on its first water test. Certainly looks to be a unique little craft that should be fun to fish from and sure to turn heads!
