THE Jabbers Beast Flogger is a five-piece travel rod designed to target bigger, stronger species.
This rod has a well-balanced tip to achieve respectable distance and accuracy, which is extremely important when casting at snags and similar fish-holding structure.
The special reinforced walls on the lower half of the blank impart plenty of power for changing the course of a fighting fish, allowing the angler to put the brakes on, right from hook-up.
The Beast Flogger is suited to working big surface pencils, big crank baits and XOS swim baits. It also works well when casting big spinnerbaits for targeting cod, barramundi and other large species. The Beast Flogger loads with a progressive curve, transitioning from a sensitive tip to a strong mid-section and finally to a powerful butt.
It’s constructed using quality materials from Japan, including the original Toray carbon cloth and Fuji Alconite guides and reel seat. Closing down to only 49cm, it is an ideal companion for long range expeditions and, like all other Jabbers five-piece travel rods, is available in the specially designed Jabbers Expedition Case.
