OCEAN Assassin rods are built for serious offshore fishing. Designed to take out any oceanic predators you may come across offshore. From snapper, kingies, samson fish, amberjack and cobia right up to GTs and dogtooth tuna.
Developed in Australia the Ocean Assassin range consists of two spin rods, a 7’1” PE 1.5 and a 7’4” PE 2-4 that are ideal for casting poppers, stickbaits and plastics.
Three jig models are available that are ideal for vertical jigging and livebaiting. A 5’7” PE 3-5, a 6’2” PE 2-5 and an extra heavy 5’7” PE 5-8. Rounding out the range is the 8’2” PE 6-8 popping rod.
Ocean Assassins are built using SLS3 construction. SLS3 construction uses inner and outer spiral wrap layers of carbon fibre to sandwich middle layers of alternating longitudinal carbon and glass.
Componentry is top notch with Fuji K Alconite guides, Fuji DPS reel seats featuring a machined and aluminium lock nut for improved reel security and contoured EVA grips for extreme comfort.
