FOLLOWING the success of Rapala’s Shad Rap Elite 75 the new 55mm model is set to make a big smash with the anglers. At only 55mm long the Shad Rap Elite 55 is suitable to a wide range of both salt and freshwater species. Initial testing of the Shad Rap Elite 55 has shown them to be deadly on the Australian bass, but it has already got the attention of the black bream anglers down south.
Featuring a heavy-duty construction and a highly responsive balsa body, Rapala’s Shad Rap Elite behaves differently to other lures on the market. On a slow steady retrieve, the lure can be used like a traditional crankbait letting the bib bounce and deflect around snags. Add a few rod twitches and a quicker pace and the lure starts to behave like a jerk bait, darting and twitching drawing in strikes from even the wariest of predators.
Finished off in a wide range of HD printed colour patterns to suit both fresh and saltwater and fitted out with quality sticky sharp VMC inline trebles so you don’t miss a bite!
