VIDEO: Shimano Ocea Head Dip & Sardine Ball FlashBoost stickbaits

Ocea Head Dip FlashBoost
FEATURING Shimano’s latest lure technology, the Ocea Head Dip FlashBoost is an exciting floating stickbait designed to be cast into frenzied bait balls.

Available in a 175mm and 200mm size – weighing 97g and 135g respectively – the Ocea Head Dip Flash Boost is built with a wire through construction and employs Shimano’s patented FlashBoost system – incorporating a reflective mirror – to create a continuous flash within the lure body through kinetic energy. The Ocea Head Dip Flash Boost also utilises Shimano’s long-casting AR-C Propulsion Weight Transfer System.

When retrieved with a sweeping rod action, the lure imitates a wounded baitfish by darting below the surface before returning to a vertical floating position – with the head sitting just above the water – on the pause.

The Ocea Head Dip FlashBoost comes in four pelagic tuned colours.

Ocea Sardine Ball FlashBoost
The Ocea Sardine Ball FlashBoost is an innovative sinking stickbait designed to be cast into frenzied bait balls.

The Ocea Sardine Ball FlashBoost is 150mm and 71g and is built with a wire through construction. The Sardine Ball FlashBoost employs Shimano’s patented FlashBoost system – incorporating a reflective mirror – to create a continuous flash within the lure body through kinetic energy. The Ocea Sardine Ball Flash Boost also utilises Shimano’s long-casting AR-C Propulsion Weight Transfer System.

When retrieved, Shimano says the Sardine Ball FlashBoost produces an irresistible baitfish imitation with an erratic darting action and flutter on the fall.

The Ocea Sardine Ball FlashBoost comes in four pelagic tuned colours and is rigged with heavy duty split rings and 2/0 trebles.

Available September, 2020.
