Berkley 4″ Nemesis
WE’VE been under the pump with work lately, although we have managed to squeeze in a few quick fishing sessions here and there.
With the temperature exceeding 30 degrees throughout much of NSW yesterday, we hit up our local estuary to try out the new Berkley 4″ Nemesis.
Rigged on a range of different weight TT Lures’ HeadlockZ HD jigheads, the most successful colour was the pink 4″ Nemesis, which proved irresistible for quite a few decent-sized flathead. This particular fish measured 72cm.
A couple of weeks ago we also hooked a large mulloway on the same lure. It was a very solid fish (estimated over 15kg), which we got a quick glimpse of before it headed for the horizon and busted the light leader!
Yes, it’s a classic ‘one that got away story’, but further testament the Berkley 4″ Nemesis is already following in the footsteps of the larger 6.5″ version as a dynamite lure for Australian fish species.
