SHIMANO’S new Limitless series are designed specifically for Australian fisheries. The Limitless range offers spin and baitcast rods suited to everything from finesse estuary fishing, through to heavier lure applications. The series has been built around the rod styles anglers reach for most often – versatile, capable models that feel at home across a wide variety of waterways.
The foundation of the Limitless range is its lightweight 40T carbon blank. The Hi-Modulus carbon construction creates a slimmer profile with faster recovery characteristics, resulting in crisp, casting performance and improved lure control. Whether you’re working soft plastics, hardbodies, vibes or surface lures, the blanks respond quickly, helping anglers stay connected throughout the retrieve.
Limitless also features a premium componentry package not often seen at this price point. Fuji K guides offer proven durability and smooth line management, while the Seaguide HSC carbon reel seat reduces weight and adds to the refined feel in hand. Combined with custom EVA grips and clean, modern cosmetics, the result is a rod series that looks as good as it fishes.
The range includes nine carefully selected models covering popular Australian lure fishing applications. From ultra-light estuary presentations, through to heavier spin models capable of casting larger plastics and hardbodies, Limitless provides anglers with an effective tool for a broad range of species and techniques.
