In early 2010, leading fishing tackle brand Berkley joined forces with outboard company BRP Australia to sponsor the Berkley Evinrude Teams Series – a step up from the hugely successful Berkley Summer Series bream fishing tournament of recent years.
Following a huge response and overwhelming support of the 2010 Series, BETS is back in 2011 even bigger and better!
Featuring six qualifying one-day rounds in some of the finest New South Wales bream fisheries, the Series culminates in a huge Grand Final to be held on Sydney Harbour.
Fought over two days with a sensational finish arena at the 2011 Sydney International Boat Show, the highest qualifying twenty teams will battle it out for the Grand Final First Prize of $20,000, courtesy of Berkley and Evinrude. With a prize pool in excess of $150,000 there are also fantastic prizes on offer along the way in the richest tournament series of the year.
