FOLLOWING on from the hugely successful 2011 Berkley Evinrude Teams Series (BETS), Berkley has again joined forces with BRP Australia to bring you the 2012 BETS Series.
Featuring six sponsor supported qualifying one-day rounds in some of the finest NSW bream fisheries, the 2012 series will again culminate in a huge Grand Final to be held on Sydney Harbour over two days, finishing at the 2012 Sydney International Boat Show.
Major cash and product prizes in both qualifying rounds and the Grand Final will be up for grabs, courtesy of the many event sponsors. The Grand Final First Prize of $20,000 is again there to be won in 2012.
New for 2012, each round will now be supported by a major sponsor. The line up will be as follows:
TT Lures Round One – 4th December – Sydney Harbour
Engel Round Two – 15th January – Lake Macquarie
Mako Round Three – 5th February – Hawkesbury River
Hobie Fishing Round Four – 4th March – Forster
Coleman Round Five – 6th May – St Georges Basin
Lowrance Round Six -24th June – Lake Macquarie
Grand Final to be held on Sydney Harbour on the 4th – 5th August. Grand Final will be a two-day event with a pre-fish ban; official pre-fish day will be 3rd August 2012.
