FOUR anglers have been rescued from a powerboat that sunk in the open ocean about 18 nautical miles off the Gold Coast on May 30.
The News.com website reports that the four men, in their 30s and 40s, were out for a day of fishing when powerful waves swept over the vessel, filling it with water. The men were collected and appeared to have no injuries, save for mild hypothermia, Queensland Police said.
