FISHO Technical Editor Mark Williams recently managed to tick off two big piscatorial bucket list items. Firstly, he finally managed to crack a 90cm Lake Macquarie flathead on a lure while fishing with his long time fishing buddy Mick Aubrey. Secondly, the big old girl was Mark’s first fish tagged and the 10th overall as pat of the Lake Macquarie Trophy Flathead Tagging Program. As Mark says he was “so happy to share this Holy Grail of Lake Macquarie lure fishing with a great mate and fellow flatty tagger.”
