AS reported last week by Fisho, new bag and minimum size limits for mulloway are set to come into force in NSW from November 1.
The changes, officially announced by NSW Department & Primary Industries Minister Katrina Hodgkinson, have been widely criticised by the recreational fishing sector for not doing enough to address the commercial fishing effort on mulloway.

Having followed the issues surrounding declining mulloway stocks in NSW very closely, Fishing World magazine’s editor/publisher Jim Harnwell has been particularly critical of the new regulations announced last week.
