INTREPID Aussie angler Tom Baxter, formerly of the Alpine Angler tackle store in Cooma NSW, has been keeping in regular contact with Fisho during his recent fishing guiding stint in Bolivia.
In his latest email Tom tells us he’s been back home for a couple of weeks and in his words is “suffering withdrawal symptoms from not fishing”. Not surprising after returning from the amazing Bolivian jungle rivers where he was knee deep in dorado and cool looking fish like the surubi – a South American variety of catfish – pictured here! You won’t get any sympathy here Tommy, sorry…
