B.A.S.S Nation Championship to hit Glenbawn

THE field is set for the Megabass B.A.S.S. Australia Nation Championship to be held on Lake Glenbawn on September 6 and 7.

The 30 best pro and co-anglers will take on the fishery to see who will be the inaugural B.A.S.S. Australia Nation Champion in a share of over $18,000 in cash and prizes, plus a trip to the US.

According to the organisers, the Megabass B.A.S.S. Australian Championship promises to be the most significant event in Australia’s short tournament history – the winner of the Pro section will be the very first representative to take on the Southern Division at the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship in Monroe, Louisiana, USA. The winning Aussie rep will then be only one step away from the Bassmaster Classic (the world championship of bass fishing)!

The angler will be the very first Australian to fly the flag officially at a B.A.S.S. Nation
event, where a total of 56 competitors from around the globe will be vying to be Number 1.
