ACCORDING to a report from the US, a live 1kg leopard shark recently dropped from the sky at a golf course in Southern California.
A course marshal saw something moving around on the tee and went to investigate and found the small shark. He reportedly put the shark in his golf cart and drove it back to the clubhouse where the shark was put in a bucket of water. Then somebody remembered it wasn’t a fresh water animal, so they stirred up some “homemade sea water” using sea salt from the kitchen.
The shark was then taken to the ocean and when placed in the water it didn’t move but eventually it “flipped and took off.”
The report said the shark had small puncture wounds indicating a bird of prey may have seized it before dropping it on the golf course.
