IN A follow-up to our recent story of bonefish being caught on lures off the rocks at Lord Howe Island (read here) Fisho today received some exciting news.
Apparently the lucky fisho featured in our first story, Dion Nobbs, has been at it again. But just to mix it up a bit this time he managed to catch some bonefish off the sand at a place called Binky Beach.
Lord Howe Island charter operator Keith Galloway again sent us the pics and a brief explanatory email outlining Dion’s capture of two more bones, the first a beauty of around 4kg and 65cm caught on bait, the second a smaller fish of around 2.5kg that took a liking to a metal Raider lure.
We now await news of Dion’s next amazing catch. Stay tuned!
