CANNON’S new Digi-Troll 5 electronic downrigger features keypad controls with an integrated LCD screen, the fastest retrieval rate on the market (250 feet per minute) and a Short-Stop feature that protects the boat from the swinging downrigger ball.
With the Digi-Troll 5 anglers have the ability to control up to six downriggers at once from a Humminbird fish finder (exclusive to 700, 800, 900 and 1100 series models) by using the Cannon Link Accessory. This accessory allows your sounder to control the depth that your downrigger ball is set at and will constantly reposition your bait at the exact depth you want it.
The Digi-Troll 5 comes standard with mounting base, low-profile swivel base, and a telescopic stainless steel boom that extends from 24″ to 53″. It also features one-piece composite construction, a redesigned boom end, protected circuit boards, and offers easy access to the spool, switches, plugs and mounting knobs. The Positive Ion Control on the Digi-Troll 5 emits positive ions from the cable to combat the negative ions from your boat, creating a fish-attracting field of energy.
