CONDITIONS on the NSW coast from Wednesday March 7 through to Friday March 9 are potentially dangerous for rock fishers and boaters.
A deepening low over the Tasman Sea is expected to generate large waves along the NSW coast with seas up to 3 metres plus swell up to 4 metres. The section of the coast south of the Hunter district is expected to be the worst affected.
Strong winds have also been predicted, especially for Thurday March 8, with winds expected to swing offshore, flattening the ocean and disguising dangerously large swells.
