THE Coffs Harbour Dave Irvine Memorial Snapper Classic was held over the weekend with some impressive snapper being caught and released, despite less than favourable conditions.
The competition’s start was postponed on Saturday due to the BOM issuing a strong wind warning, which was lifted on Sunday.
Anglers battled through the rough conditions with just one day to fish, capturing a total of 257 snapper for the event equating to a total event capture length of 132.9m.
