FOLLOWING the discovery in Port Stephens of two dead grey nurse sharks displaying gunshot wounds, the NSW Department of Primary Industries is undertaking an investigation.
According to nbnnews.com.au the DPI has described the discovery as “totally unacceptable”.
The protected and critically endangered sharks were found off Box Beach on Sunday with bullet holes in the head.
