HOW’S this for an amazing story?
An angler fishing on the NSW South Coast last weekend hooked a small bream on a bladed lure…
While fighting the bream, a flathead ambushed the fish and ate it!
The angler kept the flathead and later gutted it, to find the bream was still alive in its stomach!
After ‘delivering’ the bream by C-section, it apparently swam away out of the angler’s hands!
An interesting form of catch-and-release bream fishing!
