DAIWA says its T3 baitcaster set the standard for line and cast control, now the tackle giant’s engineers have created what they describe as the ultimate ultra light casting reel – The T3 Air.
The new T3 Air is designed to cast small lures weighing mere grams, fast and accurately every time. Featuring Daiwa innovations like TWS and Magforce 3D, T3 introduces all new features like ultra light Zaion handles, new micro ball bearing system and hybrid hyper gears that have reduced the gear weight by 53 per cent. But the real secret to T3 air’s incredible casting ability relies upon the new “Air Mode” and “G1 Air Spool”.
Standard Air Spool’s ability to cast ultra light weights over distance is restricted by the magnetic breaking system slowing the spool down. The new G1 Air Spool was designed to suit Daiwa’s latest braking system Air Mode which is supported by a movable inductor mounted on the spool. Air Mode features both a centrifugal and magnetic braking system.
