The accompanying pics of a recent great white sighting on the NSW South Coast were posted on the region’s sportfishing website

According to the post, a couple of contractors doing maintenance on navigation markers spotted the cruising great white, which they estimated to be about six feet long. The shark had reportedly entered the Sussex River which is the basin’s opening to the ocean.

The contractors went on to herd the shark back out through the entrance with their boat, to where it was seen to hang around for some time before finally disappearing.
