Hey, where’d the water go?

WHILE the Northern Territory may not have experienced much of a wet season this year, things definitely aren’t as bad as this photo might suggest!

The image posted this week on fishingterritory.com may appear to be have been taken on a dry creek bed somehere in the Top End but is actually the result of a boat trailer mishap.

According to a report the aluminium pontoon-style boat was left high and dry after the trailer’s winch-strap failed and the boat rolled off the trailer following a fishing trip to Dundee Beach, 60km southwest of Darwin.

It is believed the person towing the boat had continued on driving for quite some time before realising the trailer was looking a little lonely…

Photographer “Dundee Hombre”, who originally posted the photo online, said the boat waited “a good 10 minutes” before the driver turned around.

What's your reaction?
