IN a first for the national boat show circuit, the Best in Show winners from the Australian Fishing Tackle Association (AFTA) awards held this year on the Gold Coast, will be launched to the public at the 2014 Brisbane Boat Show.
The award winners will be on show at the Keep Australia Fishing Precinct at the Brisbane show which kicks off tomorrow.
This initiative, a joint venture between AFTA, Keep Australia Fishing and Marine Queensland, is expected to include demonstrations and how-to presentations by fishing experts, displays and product information sessions from all of the major tackle companies, prize draws, kids’ entertainment, free gear and a huge shop so visitors can purchase all the latest and greatest rods, reels, lures and fishing accessories.
