SHIMANO’S famous Chronarch baitcaster is now lighter and stronger, thanks to the revolutionary Carbon Interfused 4+ technology.
Importantly, castability is what defines a good baitcaster, and the Chronarch CI4+ series delivers via SVS centrifugal braking systems, Super Free frictionless spool shafts, and seven SA-RB bearings and one roller bearing for an ultra smooth fishing experience.
The cold-forged machine-cut 7075 Magnumlite aluminium spool assists in casting performance, and represents another weight saving. There’s also X-Ship; a bearing-supported pinion gear and an oversize drive gear, with High Efficiency Gearing (HEG) and a choice of retrieve speeds – 6.2:1 or 7.5:1.
There’s a left-hand wind model available as well.
