THE second phase of the Maribyrnong River Native Fish Revival project is underway with an upcoming rec fishers forum and a survey.
With the assistance of Capire Consulting Group and Essendon Angling Club members, we recently conducted a site survey that resulted in over 40 ‘high value’ sites of interest to rec fishers.
We’re seeking your input to help further discuss these and other potential sites to prioritise for improvement!
A special rec fishers forum will be held on Monday, May 13, between 7 – 9 pm at the Essendon Angling Club (dinner to be provided at 6.30 pm) to discuss the project and these sites.
