The Murray-Darling Basin Authority and partners Sefton & Associates are currently involved in a program to restore native fish stocks to the rivers of the Murray-Darling Basin.
The Native Fish Strategy 2003-13 and associated operational plans, including the Communication Plan 2007-10 (download HERE) guide the program. Those involved are seeking public input about native fish via a 15 minute survey – see link below.
Sefton & Associates is keen to hear the thoughts of fishos regarding the current status of native fish in the system, public awareness of issues about native fish, what is working to improve fish stocks and what can be improved.
The information provided and all groups interviewed will inform the review and a report on future recommendations for the Murray Darling Basin Authority.
Note – no individuals will be identified in this report and any information shared will not be linked to individuals or organisations.
