The NSW Game Fishing Association has signed Nautilus Boat Insurance as the naming rights sponsor for the prestigious Interclub tournament.
Due to be staged in the week over February 27-28 and March 6-7 in Port Stephens, the 2010 Nautilus Boat Insurance Interclub Tournament is the biggest gamefishing event in the Southern Hemisphere.
NSWGFA president Don Goswell and Nautilus Boat Insurance CEO Lyndon Turner signed the four-year sponsorship agreement yesterday.
“This is a great partnership which will see the Interclub go from strength to strength,” Goswell and Turner said in a joint statement.
Goswell also announced the appointment of Fishing World magazine and www.fishingworld.com.au as official Interclub media partners. Fisho will present a preview of the 2010 event in the March issue with extensive online coverage during the event. Specialist gamefishing writer Sam Baillie will head up Fisho’s team of correspondents covering this high-status fishing event.
Starting with the January 2010 edition, Fishing World will present regular updates, tournament results and record info from NSWGFA. The Fisho website will also feature regular gamefishing news.
