THE Victorian Government announced last week that a $1.45 million expansion project will double the number of boat ramps at Corinella from two to four, install a floating pontoon-style jetty for easier boat access, undertake general ramp maintenance and improve fish cleaning and trailer parking facilities. The project will be managed by the Corinella Foreshore Committee of Management Inc.
Corinella Boat Ramp, only an hour and a half from Melbourne, is one of the closest ‘deep water’ ramps on the eastern side of Western Port and very popular all year round. This expansion will provide much needed relief for boat launching into the bay.
