SHOOTERS and Fishers Party MLC, Robert Brown, said today the NSW Government had been caught out trying to avoid responding to last year’s Upper House inquiry into recreational fishing.
Brown said the Government had tried to avoid responding to all Committee Reports that were current under the last Government.
“However, an urgency motion passed last week forces the Government to respond to all reports within 60 days and I am particularly interested in their response to the Recreational Fishing Inquiry.
“I look forward to examining the Government’s response to the inquiry recommendations early in the New Year,” Brown said.

Fishing World has contacted Minister Hodgkinson’s office to find out whether the government will be responding to recommendations from the Inquiry, but as yet has had no response.
