Sunshine Coast fishos concerned about the water quality of local waterways are urged to attend a community meeting to be held next week in Noosa.
The meeting, to be chaired chaired by Dr Matt Landos, will cover issues surrounding a yet to be publicly released QLD Government (DEEDI) report into the region’s water quality.
Landos has said numerous calls from all stakeholders to release the final report, has led him to “host a community meeting in Noosa to lay out the evidence so that the community can take the lead on supporting farmers to improve the water quality in their rivers, and return their estuaries to being the highly productive ecosystems they once were.”
All are welcome to attend the meeting at the Noosa Yacht and Sailing Club on Monday November 15 from 5:00pm- 6.30pm.
