The eye-popping photo featured here was emailed to us by keen fisho Tim Angus, who has just returned after an epic giant trevally adventure in the Coral Sea with Nomad Sportfishing Adventures.
After a week of fishing with the GT specialists Tim says, “Words cannot describe the fishing that was experienced!”
He goes on to say that in an incredible seven days the charter group caught and released a record breaking 520 GTs – all around the 25kg mark.
“My father Sandy managed to land an estimated 59kg GT which was an absolute MONSTER! (140cm length, 110cm girth)” Angus said.
Incredible sportfishing by anyone’s standards…
