FOLLOWING the recent announcement that Victoria’s Coalition supports a push to establish Port Phillip Bay as a recreational fishing reserve, a public rally will be held this weekend to show angler support for the move by the Napthine Government.
The rally organised by Friends of Corio Bay, Futurefish Foundation, Australian Fishing Trade Association, and Keep Australia Fishing will be hosted by fishing identity Rex Hunt on Sunday November 16.
Venue: Meet at Hay Market car park opposite Trades Hall, 127 Myers St Geelong.
Rally will march down Moorabool St to Cunningham Pier Waterfront.
